Better Together Animal Alliance (BTAA) recently received a heartfelt donation of $500 from a group of individuals who wanted to honor the memory of Rebecca Lee “Becky” Primmer. Becky, an ardent animal lover, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 17, 2024, following a brief illness and complications from multiple sclerosis (MS).
Born in Helena, Montana, Becky cherished the outdoors and divided her time between Spokane, Washington, and Priest Lake, Idaho. She was a proud pet parent to her beloved “dog boys,” Cody and Bud, who were her faithful companions through many outdoor adventures.
Becky’s friends chose to purchase a fish in her memory at the Priest Lake Memorial Gardens. With the remaining funds, they decided to support BTAA, reflecting Becky’s deep love for animals. Throughout her life, Becky was known for her compassion, strength, and dedication, not only as an experienced RN who inspired many in her profession but also as a passionate advocate for numerous progressive causes, including women’s issues and animal welfare.
BTAA is deeply grateful for this generous donation, which will help us continue our mission of supporting and improving the lives of animals in our community. Becky’s legacy of kindness and love for animals lives on through this gift.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Becky’s friends for their thoughtful contributions and for choosing to honor her memory in a way that aligns with her passion for animals. Together, we can make a difference and continue to create a loving environment for all animals.
