New HSUS campaign will help people struggling to access care for their pets.
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has a long history of supporting pets and their people.
In a recent blog post the organization states, “As an organization dedicated to the well-being of animals, we cannot ignore this national crisis. A key part of our work is to achieve equity in access to pet care for underserved communities.”
BTAA is a proud partner of the HSUS, working to bring vital care and services to otherwise underserved areas in our region. We do this through community-based programs such as Pets for Life, a program through the HSUS that recently recognized BTAA for providing its 1 millionth service to Janis and her dog, Freeda who live in Sagle.

More Than a Pet campaign will help people struggling to access care for their pets
The HSUS invites everyone to show support for this campaign by sharing why their companion animals are #MoreThanAPet. Campaign partner Smalls is donating a bowl of food for every photo shared, up to $1 million, to pets and their families in need.
