Better Together Animal Alliance Honored with Community Cup Award from Humane World for Animals

Better Together Animal Alliance (BTAA), a leading animal welfare organization in Ponderay, Idaho, has been awarded the prestigious Community Cup by Humane World for Animals (formerly Humane Society of the United States) at the Animal Care Expo held in Las Vegas in April. This award recognizes BTAA’s exemplary dedication to community service and innovative approaches to animal welfare.

Amanda Arrington, Senior Director of Pets for Life at Humane World for Animals, highlighted BTAA’s exceptional commitment to community care and respect for all individuals.

“This award recognizes a partner that deeply cares about their community and embraces the charge to treat everyone with dignity and respect,” said Arrington. “BTAA has been a partner for over seven years, incorporating a philosophy of support throughout their organization. As a small shelter in a rural area, they face never-ending challenges, but their commitment to community relationships and trust has never wavered. In the past year alone, BTAA opened a public spay and neuter clinic, demonstrating its dedication to making veterinary care accessible to all. They have consistently stretched every dollar and implemented innovative solutions to address the unique challenges of their region.”

“We are thrilled to receive the Community Cup from Humane World for Animals,” said Mandy Evans, Executive Director of BTAA. “This award is a testament to the hard work and unwavering dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters who make our mission possible every day. At BTAA, we believe in putting community relationships first, and we are honored to be recognized for our efforts.”

BTAA continues to provide outreach and support programs, ensuring every animal and community member receives the care and respect they deserve. The Community Cup award underscores BTAA’s ongoing commitment to excellence in animal welfare and community service.
